As the Putah Creek Biologist, I am working on a variety of projects monitoring and researching the riparian wildlife on and around Putah Creek. My main focus is the Putah Creek Nestbox Highway — a long term project that provides nest boxes for cavity nesting songbirds. Additionally, I am working on a bat occupancy project via ultrasonic acoustic monitoring along Putah Creek. I am very passionate about bat acoustics (and bats in general) and look forward to learning more about what species frequent Putah Creek! While not in the field banding nestlings or deep in the world of bat acoustics, I prepare specimens for the museum.
